Increased circulation is one of the advantages of getting a massage. This is vital in promoting good physical health. It is believed that massages enable the body to heal from injuries more rapidly. Did you know that a massage is great for the mind, as well? Depression and anxiety can be alleviated to various degrees and the quality of sleep is often improved.

In addition, our establishment offers a Branches Treatment (Plaitza) massage. This is a steam room rubdown using an oak leaf broom. "Plaitza" is a Yiddish word which means "back" or "shoulder". One hundred and twenty oak leaf twigs are tied together to construct the broom. Each stem or twig consists of two or three oak leaves. Soap and natural juices of oak cleanse pores in the body. The broom is also slapped on the body and hot water droplets land on the skin from the broom. This process is called "bringing in the heat", which is excellent for aching muscles. Give it a try!
